Landscape Photography

Here are some of the great landscape shots that I have had the honor to wittness in my life. Sure does show the handy work of God doesn't it?

Shot-in Buddies
Roger and Ricky enjoying a cool morning at the apple trees. Believe it or not it had just snowed around 4 inches a couple of days before.

Back Yard Falls
I got up one morning after a hard nights rain to find this beautiful little water fall right in my back yard. I had to go out in the rain to get this shot, by the way digital does not like the water. I used a umbrella to keep the ole Nikon dry, but got the shot.

Pocket Bridge
I have walked pass and over this bridge probably a hundred times before it clicked. This would be a great picture, so I got my feet wet and set  up my tripod and took several shots. This one does it for me.

Pumpkin Patch
While driving along an old country road on Dayton Mt. I came across this pumpkin patch that was ready for the harvest. I jumped out and set up for a low angle shot and fired off several shots. This was one of my favorites.

Farmer Sunset
I was walking along the edge of a field on a Tennessee farm as the sun sunk below the horizon. I came across this old piece of farm equipment and the sun was lined up just right. I couldn't pass this one up, I'm glad I didn't.

Old Boat
I was at this farm taking portrait shots of a family and this ole boat caught my eye. I had to set up several different angles before I got what I was after.

Driftwood
As I was working some sandhill cranes along the Tennessee river I came upon this piece of driftwood. Theres not much that will pull me from wildlife but this was one of those times.

                            Morning Pocket
This shot was taken very early on a spring morning in pocket wilderness which is located in Dayton Tennessee. I was walking along the creek an saw this large rock with the water running around it and knew this would make a great time exposure.

Apple Blooms
I feel very lucky to have gotten this shot. I was out right before a cold front was to come through the area and completely wipe out the apple crop this year. The sky looks so nice and calm but it sure was deceiving, the very next day all those beautiful blooms where on the ground.

Fall Harvest
I was at a local market here on Dayton Mt. and of course I had my trusty Nikon. As I was walking around, these old trucks caught my eye and knew the shot I wanted. I had to come back later that evening so the crowds, and the light was better. I think I got it.
