As I was taking pictures of those fast little chipmunks, this guy lands on my flash. I took several shots trying to run him off, but he just wanted to hang around for the show. And yes he did poop on my flash before leaving.

Coming Home
I found these beautiful birds along the Tennesse river. They are Osprey hawk and are primarily fisherman. I watched this one coming in to check on her eggs in the nest. I had the privilege of watching these eggs hatch and the chicks grow up and fly away.

New Born
Believe it or not I took this shot on my front porch. I notched the nest early in the spring and kept a close eye out for that magical day. I wanted to get a shot of one of them breaking out of the egg, but mom had other plans.

Humming Bird
I had been setting for over an hour in a hot blind trying to get a good shot of one of these little guys. Just as I was going to call it quits this one lands right in front of me. I had to act fast because these guys don't hang around long anywhere.

Velvet Top
I pretty much just walked up on this big buck. He still had his full velvet rack, and I think this is one of the best times to photograph this guys. I got to shot several pictures of him as he just kind-of walk right on by me.

Sandhill Cranes in Flight
First shoot in 2009, I went out with my uncle to walk the river bank and the recent rain had flooded the banks. So no way to walk along the river. We changes our strategy and went to a bird watching area and got these very nice crane pictures. And yea, it was cold out there.

Baby Fawn
This new born fawn was just starting to get around good. He was up in a field watching to make sure mom didn't get to far away. He hasn't learnt to have fear of man yet so he didn't pay much attention to me. Lucky me!

Fox on the Run
While working in my back yard I heard a dog barking down in the woods. I grabbed the Ole Nikon and slipped down into the woods and set down. After a little patience this little guy came bouncing through. He stopped to have a look around right in front of me and looked like he poised for me.

Ole Bucky
As I was walking out into a field very early in the morning this big guy caught my eye. I had to try to work around him to get the early morning sun to cooperate with the camera. As I was slipping around him something got his attention, this was my chance to get the shot.

The Jump
This was the very first fishing trip I took Jake on. As the boat was going out to the fishing spot these dolphins came along side of the boat and give us a nice jumping show. Of course I had my camera and started snapping. If you look right under the one jumping you will see another one under the water.

Bear Cub
As I was walking through Cades Cove with my uncle, we came across this family of bears munching on some wild cherries in this tree. As we set up this shot of one of the cubs in the tree the mother bear was just above us. Would you have had the nerve to stay and get the shot?

Ole Big Daddy
I wished I could say that I hiked way back in the jungle and got the shot of this ole silver back, but the truth is he was laying in the sun at the Knoxville zoo. Whenever I look at this shot I still wonder what it would be like to get a shot of one of these big boy in the wild.

Fall Time Doe
Shot shot just works for me. I like the fall colors and the close-up of the deer. This shot was taken in the pocket wilderness area, and just a little secret. When I shot this pic the deer wasn't in it, I put her in later.
